Let darkness come
Life's teeth gnash and tear at our souls
Hear the laughter of our foes
The tears of our friends and families
Feel sorrow and rage try to tear us apart
Like blood red claws in the night

I wanted to do an epic picture involving my girlfriend and I. So this is what came out of that inspiration, along with the poem above. I wanted to do something to show that no matter what life throws at us, I will never leave her. She is my everything. <3

The red string tied around our pinkies is from a Japanese myth that we both particularly like. It says that the people who are linked by a red string tied around their pinkies will forever be connected. The string may be long, or short, knotted or straight, but it is unbreakable. Once they're already connected, they will eventually find their way to each other.

Done in about... 8? I think nearly 8 hours on Sai. Not sure. I don't time myself.
